Time To Hold Up A New Sign

I found the post below so hysterical! I could relate to the hope that one day we wont have people urging us to do something because ‘the end is near’. I hope you enjoy a laugh as I did!

One of the blogs I regularly read is www.laitman.com

Here Kabbalist/Scientist Michael Laitman and his closest students post several daily entries, all about the wisdom of Kabbalah.

This blog has been talking about ‘world crisis’ for some time now and today’s post includes a list of the latest signs of the crisis. These include: (from http://www.laitman.com/2009/10/the-next-chapter-in-the-world-crisis-book/ )

Alan Greenspan: ‘This will happen again’
In the News (from BBC):
Market crisis ‘will happen again’” – The world will suffer another financial crisis, former Federal Reserve chief Alan Greenspan has told the BBC. “It’s human nature, unless somebody can find a way to change human nature, we will have more crises and none of them will look like this because no two crises have anything in common, except human nature.”

It reminds me of my father, who became a Jehovah’s Witness when I was about 10 years old. During my preadolescence and teenage years his voice was constantly in my head preaching that the ‘end is near’. Indeed a quick search of images will yield many cartoons showing individuals standing amidst the masses carrying signs of the coming apocalypse. That’s my Dad, I would think!

I’m actually looking forward to the ‘end’. Finally I’ll be able to carry around a sign that says ‘THE BEGINNING IS HERE’!

Who is the Creator?

According to the answer given by Kabbalist Michael Laitman (see blog link below) the Creator is actually you, only in a perfected or corrected form.

Like looking into a mirror we are a reflection or image (made in the image of…aka Genesis) of a Creator. As an image we are in reverse form…all taking…while the Creator is all giving. Our task, which Torah teaches, is to strive to become like the Creator.

Is this an impossible task? Every step towards this noble goal I am reminded just how not corrected (or self-motivated) I am. This is known in Kabbalah as the ‘recognition of evil’. We look in the mirror and we our difference and feel it as painful and unfulfilling. That is…we feel it if we are lucky! Much of the time we are asleep to this reality.rav at pen

Will Economic Crisis Lead the USA To Communism?

Marx
Marx

Karl Marx said, “Owners of capital will stimulate the working class to buy more and more expensive goods, real estate and equipment, pushing them to take more and more expensive loans until the loans end up in default. The defaulted loans will cause banks to go bankrupt and nationalized by the government, and this, in turn, will lead to the emergence of communism.”

A Kabbalist Responds: Marx predicted the future rather well. We underestimate him only because Russia did not carry out its experiment correctly. If they would have done it according to Marx, then everything would have worked out; or rather, then they would not have done it because they were not ready.

Now these ideas are starting to come to life regardless. In fact, Marx derived his theory from practice, basing it on the development of human egoism. For more, see the newspaper, “The Nation.”

Gmail Down

gmail1

Were you among those who panicked when Gmail went down. Did you try over and over to log in only to find it wasn’t working over and over again? I felt like one of those flies buzzing at a glass window, trying to get outdoors by banging endlessly against the glass.

http://kabbalah.suite101.com/article.cfm/gmail_down

The blogger above captured my experience perfectly and then made me think. Kudos! That’s not an easy thing to do. I’m a busy person and I enjoy having my people connections available to me at the speed of light. Email feels like your friends are always there, waiting to hear from you and I eagerly await their reponses.

Is there a better form of connection? Perhaps one day, but meanwhile, I’m hooked. My constant prayer is please keep me connected!

On Following Advice

I realized that we have been hearing advice from our elders for years…but we rarely take it in and do anything with that advice until we absolutely have to.
So, why now?
Because the world has reached the state of globalization. We are all one body now…and it seems that we are quite unhealthy.Notice to self:
Treat this problem as if the world is inside of you and start trying everything you can to fix everything about you that is reflected in the sick world you see. When something outside of you makes you upset or angry or frustrated consider that the reason is because something inside of you is broken and needs fixing…once fixed the picture you see outside will also be healed.

AUDIO BOOK: Kabbalah, Science and the Meaning of Life

Kabbalah, Science and the Meaning of Life

Kabbalah, Science & the Meaning of Life traces the milestones of the evolution of science with which we are familiar, such as Newton’s and Einstein’s theories but goes further to present the science of Kabbalah as the basis for understanding the hidden parts of reality which scientists are now discovering. While other sciences research the definable world around us, Kabbalah teaches us how the spontaneous changes occurring within us affect our surrounding reality. The wisdom of Kabbalah enables us to monitor those changes and control them, and in so doing change our world for the better.

Fighting Terror the Right Way

The purpose of terrorism is no different from the purpose of every “evil” element in our world: to force us away from complacency when we are inclined to be idle, and to force us to re-examine our situation.

Who is Permitted to Study Kabbalah?

www.arionline.info

Every person, regardless of gender, race, religion or nationality is permitted to study the wisdom of Kabbalah. For that reason, Kabbalists have always tried to circulate this wisdom in both Israel and the world over, to bring this option to everyone’s awareness. This is especially true of those whose souls are ripe for the study of the wisdom of Kabbalah. Through study they can correct themselves and attain the purpose of Creation. Others who still don’t feel it necessary to study Kabbalah should be aware of this system should they want to study it later. This allows them to accelerate their progress toward the correction phase.

If we read The Study of the Ten Sefirot , one of Kabbalah’s most prominent works, written by Baal HaSulam in the previous century, we will see that from the very first page, Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag (Baal HaSulam) explains that every individual can and should study Kabbalah. It is absolutely necessary for those who have a single question burning in their hearts: “What is the meaning of my life?”

Although the wisdom of Kabbalah is a vast and complex science, Rabbi Ashlag opens his book with a simple, human question, one we can all recognize. Those who feel dissatisfied with the answers can find the answer in the wisdom of Kabbalah, and only there. There is no other way! A person who does not ask, “What is the meaning of my life?” will not benefit from the wisdom of Kabbalah.
